The gate are fabricated in one or two sections and are furnished with a minimum of two rollers per side, per section. After all other welding on the gate slide has been completed, the raised seating surface are machined to a plane parallel to the roller axis and drilled for mounting the rubber seals.

The leaf is designed to limit defection.

Adjustable Roller Assemblies

Side seals is of PTFE cladded neoprene rubber of the music node solid type. The bottom seal shall be a flat rubber section.

Manual welding operators performing welding operations on these gates, or accessories, shall currently are qualified either under Section 9, Part A, of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, or under the Standard Qualification Procedure of the American Welding Society.
